Here are a ton of cupcakes Ive made! I hope you like them and if you need ne advice or tips on how I decorated them feel free to ask!

♥ Your cupcake history: I love to bake. I  want to expand my cupcake repertoire from bland to beautiful! My goal this year is to get creative and experiment with decorating. This community will hopefully help with that! :-)

♥ Why you like cupcakes: Who doesn't like cupcakes!? I have a huge sweet tooth and they are so yummy and cute. Plus the possibilites are endless! You can never get bored with making (and eating) cupcakes.

Anyone have this? How does it fit? I'm usually a size M (size 6) for woman's bottoms and i'm not sure what size to get for this and i can't get to a store to try it on. Also kinda torn between which colour to get: Almost Black or Apricot. Post pics if you have this! :)

My  friend just rang to say she's getting married in 10 days (actually I knew that.. I'm going lol!) and ask if I would make a cupcake tower for the reception... of course I can.. I have everything I need right here.. except decoration inspiration :/

Any ideas?? Colour scheme is white and silver, and I really didn't want to do just swirls with silver cachous on top.. these are fun people, both musicians, and its a second marriage for both...

I was thinking maybe silver foil cases, white fondant with hand painted hearts or music notes???

If anyone has pictures or ideas, I would love to hear them, and of course, I will share after the day

Cupcake History: Dude - cupcakes are awesome. They've always been awesome. I'm also great at stealing said bake-goods without others noticing... not, when money's involved; I have parents for that. I'm good at baking so I obviously make cupcakes often.

Why do you like cupcakes?: Well; I hate pie. I really do; can't even stand the homemade stuff and let me tell you, my Mother could make cow's stomach appetizing - still won't touch the stuff. Cake is my absolute favorite dessert, and cupcakes are just a mini-cakes, anyway. Plus, Portal and Jim Gaffigan's Cake rant.

Anything to share?: Hmm... I hope to be known as "That crazy Cupcake chick" not get a hear attack from said fixation, and oh! Making cupcakes for a party in Spanish class - any simple ideas for added zest? Maybe the Spanish alphabet written on the cupcakes. It could be like the Periodic table (Oh yeah, my Dad sent me a picture of that - which was done by a user on here, and then I find this and realize that's where the picture came from! It was my desktop for a few months.)

Hey fellow cupcake lovers! My name is Emma, and I've posted here before. I love to make cupcakes, some of you may remember me as the girl who made the whole periodic table out of full sized cupcakes for her friend. 

Anyway...

I have a mini-dilemma about cupcakes that I would love your opinions on! 

I was the leader of my school's robotics team last year, a very big program and kind of a big deal to be in charge of. A I'm still close with some of the people on the team so I thought I would come to "Kick-Off" this Saturday with cupcakes!

I never built robots, I focused on the community outreach aspect of the program, including a program where we read to kids at a local bookstore. Unfortunately there are next to no books about robots, so we wrote our own!

Now... here is the real problem.

I'm going to make little colorful melted white chocolate (with food coloring added) figures of the 4 characters in the books, as well as perhaps some "399"s (the team number), "FIRST"s (the name of the organization), and perhaps the names of the characters to stand up on the cupcakes.

I can't decide if since the little figures are going to be very bright if I should just do white frosting (I'm planning on piping it and making sure it has a lot of volume, not just spreading it on flat) and stick the figure on for color, or if I should make all the cupcakes bright and colorful with my color scheme. 

Each of the little robot characters is respectively orange, blue, yellow, and red, so that will be my color scheme. I would only use one color of frosting per cupcake, but there would be all 4 colors represented on separate cupcakes. I would of course put the figures of each color on different colored cupcakes, such as the yellow robot on a red cupcake, not on a yellow one. 

What do you think I should do? Less is more? Or go all out?

♥ Anything to share?: i recently attempted rainbow cupcakes which turned on fairly reasonable and then i made better ones today which were taken with a better camera and were vanilla chocolate marbled cupcakes with choc chips nom nom.

♥ Your cupcake history: I just all the sudden got really into baking!! I love it! Then had a trip to tennesse and got to see a real cupcake shop! It was amazing and then I just started to love cupcakes! They are so much fun and delicious! I usually make them for any thing im invited to! yay!

♥ Your cupcake history: I love baking cupcakes, when I have the opportunity. Unfortunately, I don't find very many excuses to make several dozen little cakelets or find many people all at once willing to eat them.
♥ Why you like cupcakes: They're the perfect little package - small, easy to decorate, fun to eat, just the right amount of sweet, and you don't feel guilty eating just one.
♥ Anything to share?: Here are a trio of simple cupcakes for a picnic - red velvet with cream cheese icing, chocolate with white buttercream icing, and yellow with chocolate icing.
