What a long and eventful weekend! Let me see if I can remember everything. Thursday night was New Years so Adam and Andrew came over. We played a lot of Pokemon and watched some True Blood and the countdown to midnight. Matt made us lots of nachos.

Adam brought over Christmas presents, look what he got me!!!

I love that Porygon-Z Pokedoll SO MUCH it's so cute. I brought it to all the tournaments and everyone loved it, especially a boy named Tony who shares my affinity for Porygon-Z. He couldn't stop talking about how cute it was and even asked me if he could buy it off me! Hahaha I was like noooo :(

Friday morning there was a Pokemon tournament, and I came in NINTH and just missed the top cut, it was a top 8! I was so sad because I should have been 5 wins and 1 loss, but one of my opponents won on time, even though I totally had him beat, and I would have won the next turn had time not been called. I was really sad about that. Matt top-cutted, he was number 8 so he had to play the person who was number 1, one of our friends named Con. He beat Matt. :(

Saturday was another tournament, my final record was 2-2. It's not my fault I had to play the two decks there that were the bane of my existence, SHUPPET DONK (AFSJDFKSJDL I have talked about how much I hate that before), and SHEDINJA which is an auto-loss because Shedinja's Poke-body is that nothing with a power or a body can attack it........and ALL of my Pokemon have Poke-powers and Poke-bodies, so I just scooped. Ugh! I had the worst luck with my match-ups. Oh well.

Then today we of course went to NYC, and the drive was so long because it snowed. I really don't like big cities so NYC really overwhelms me, but I had so much fun seeing the Nintendo Store and the Kidrobot store! It was so worth it. I loved it. I got so many cool things.

I have been practicing with my Konad, gosh it's so hard! Just getting the stamp on STRAIGHT is the hardest part. Without it bunching up or ripping. I'm getting the hang of it, but my first 2 attempts definitely aren't post-worthy.

Now I am going to go back to playing this!

So far I am kindof disappointed that half the levels are levels from We Love Katamari, even though it makes sense to the plot of the game. (You are trying to give the King his memorizes back.) I don't mind too much because I love Katamari games dearly! But I wish there were more new ones. The new ones I have played so far are wicked fun. I loooove the new graphics. It is going to look so good when Matt gets an HD TV. (Tax return!)

Also guys, I have a tumblr, idk if you knew this! It's very new. I just started using it more and learning how to use it, so you can follow me if you like. I need some more people to follow too, so that would be nice if I could follow you too!

On Sunday, Matt, Adam, and I (and most likely Andrew) are going to go to New York City! We are going to take a trip to the Nintendo store and the KidRobot store, and probably some other things that I forgot when he told me. I'm exciiiteddd! This is so spontaneous of Matt.

Andrew and Adam are staying over from Thursday night (New Years) until Sunday. What a weekennnd. There are a couple Pokemon tournaments I think. I know we are going to at least one.

I can't stop listening to MGMT's Oracular Spectacular. I wish they would come out with a new album! Kids, Electric Feel and Time To Pretend are some of my favorite songs of all time, not going to lie. I really love the whole album.

okay i am going to find a job

and i'm going to save every penny. i'm going to save up so so so so so much and me and mom are moving to the south this summer! so i have ummmm, five or sixish months to get enough money to fly and get an apartment. i am beyond excited! and i'm going to use some of the money to go to bartending school... north and south carolina (where we want to go) requires you to be 21 to pour alcohol but but but you only have to be 18 in georgia so maybe we can check it out there.

with that said, i have to clean my room and take a shower and mail a letter to my pen pal DRAGONSLAYER.

Whenever I'm not in school, I immediately fall into the habit of staying up until all hours of the night. It's ridiculous. Yesterday I was awake until 8 AM and slept til 2PM. Right now it is 6AM. It's amazing how midnight turns into 3AM so quickly. But I did a lot tonight! I made 3 felt pillows for Matt, Andrew, and Adam. I will give Adam and Andrew there's when they come over for New Years. :)

I thought the bows were cute, I hope the boys think it's cute too. D:

Today I went shopping to spend the rest of my Forever21 gift card, and I got some jeans, a couple tank tops, a pink long sleeve shirt, and a white cardigan with some fancy designs. I'm trying to wear more pink and white, I used to wear it all the time! Now I wear mostly black, and I miss the cute colors.

And here are my new nails! (Even though I just made a pair two days ago.) I am on a nail frenzy. Oh well! The Konad Nail Stamp Set is at the UPS, they are going to redeliver it tomorrow so hopefully I will catch it. And I will probably make ANOTHER set of nails before I even get the chance to wear these out!

New nails! I love them to pieces. I got some glitter from the craft store and I sprinkled it onto the nails for the really glittery effect.

Andy, octopunani, got me the star shaped confetti(?) nail decorations for Christmas! I have actually been trying to find little confetti's like that for so long now to use on my nails. I was so excited to see them and I couldn't wait to make new nails. :)

I will finally be able to wear my nails again on a more regular basis, since I did not keep my job at Newbury past seasonal. It is really bittersweet. Today was my last day. I knew it would be nice to keep the job, and be making a little money, and it was a fun job, but I was really nervous about juggling school and a job, and I don't really need the job, so I decided I wouldn't be torn either way if I kept it or lost it. As much as I talked about how much I wanted to keep it, I'm not that upset that I was let go. I know it's not personal. I'm happy for the girl they did keep, Nikki. I know they made the right choice.
I'm just most upset that I missed out on so many things I wanted to do because I wanted to keep the job so much, and in the end I decided I didn't care anymore, and I was let go.

I love these books! I found them on the top shelf near the comics, and I flipped open to a page with a comic of two little bunnies that started "Did you know we would die if we didn't have cute things in the world?" and I knew I had to have them! They are really cute, a mix of little random comics, and photo comics using handmade plushes, and other photos and drawings that are just...cute.

Do any of you have more information about these little books?
Are there more volumes, or any other spin-offs?

I got a Merlotte's Bar and Grill shirt because I do love True Blood a lot.

I need some sun! I have been trying to take decent photos of my drawings for my Etsy for days now but the natural lighting has been so dull lately that I'm not satisfied with my photos. I had my mind set on posting photos instead of scans, but I am getting so impatient with the light. It's like pulling teeth, trying to make my camera take good quality, pretty photos.
